More Than an Animal
Recently, there has been some consideration about Bigfoot being more than simply a biological creature. Some researchers believe that Bigfoot have connections to the supernatural or aliens. Some of the many reasons that they believe this include:
Finding Bigfoot trackways that seem to start or stop from nowhere:
Tracks have been found crossing a snowfield or in the mud, and then the tracks simply disappeared.
Mindspeak:
There have been multiple occasions where people say that have experienced what they believed were Bigfoot communicating with them telepathically.
Invisibility:
People say that they have witnessed a Bigfoot simply vanish right in front of their eyes.
Portals:
Bigfoot have been supposedly observed appearing from "portals" or disappearing into them.
Invulnerable to Gunfire:
Outdoorsmen have claimed to have shot Bigfoot with high power hunting rifles. They claim that they know they struck the creature having heard the bullets impact and seeing fur fly, but the bullets having no noticeable effect on the creatures.
Orbs of light:
There have been occasions where people observed orbs of light in association with Bigfoot related experiences.
Presence of UFOs (UAPs):
There have been occasions where people observed UFOs in association with Bigfoot related experiences.
In some cases, the Bigfoot were seen entering or exiting a craft of some kind.
Native Legends:
Most Native American peoples have legends of Bigfoot and often they are viewed as Spirit Beings.
Personal Biases:
In some cases, people believe that Bigfoot are more than just animals, simply because that is what they want to believe.
These theories which rely upon visiting aliens or the supernatural, are trying to explain one unknown, with another unknown. This is not good science.
As of now, nothing supernatural is known to exist. By the definition of the word, as soon as a new phenomenon is observed and understood, it is no longer supernatural. This is simply the process of increasing our scientific knowledge.
Regarding aliens, this relationship is pure conjecture. I am completely convinced that life exists throughout the universe, however, there I have seen no evidence to support the theory that aliens have visited Earth, and that their calling-card, is Bigfoot.
Because of the high level of strangeness associated with the entire Bigfoot phenomenon, I think it would be ignorant of us to simply ignore this aspect of the experience. Let's keep our minds open to the possibility that there is more to Bigfoot than it simply being another animal, but let's support this theory with evidence.
